I added $1 face to an existing order to check these out. I was a little dissapointed in the condition, but I bought them for the silver value and not as a collectible. I got 3 washingtons all with readable dates but in rough shape and 1 standing liberty with no readable date. I was excited to see the liberty but a little sad not to see a date. As a silver investment I think the price is right. The coins are in poor condition if you want them as a collectible.

I ordered $7 face value and received all quarters - 27 Washington, and one worn standing liberty without a date. About half the of quarters were 1964 and were in fair to good condition. 4 or 5 of the quarters were in extremely poor condition (cull at best). Overall, for junk silver, it was not great, but not terrible either.

        Comments about 90% Silver Coins - $1 Face-Value:

This is junk silver meant for use as alternative currency. If you have never owned precious metals here is what I noticed in my first purchase. When you shake the coins in hand they sound really cool compared to today's quarters. They are also lighter/whiter in color and weigh a little bit heavier.

I got 3 quarters from the 1950s and 1 from the 1940s; besides the above description they look like regular American quarters.

The quarters are very worn but this doesn't bother me. I'm looking to diversify my savings and protect myself against economic crash.

This junk silver is very affordable, my only complaint is that the shipping was almost 50% of the cost and I can see why- they packaged it with a LOT of packaging for four small coins, and it was packed very tightly. APMEX can use a third of the packaging or less and still safely ship it.

I bought these coins to add to the silver stack. I recieved all Quarters which is ok. Didn't have many fractional silver pieces or coins and buying these is an inexpensive way to do just that. I will purchase more in the future, just hope to get some times next time. All in all I'm happy.

I received four quarters. They were dirty, but all had readable dates. They cleaned up well with a mild tooth paste and a baby tooth brush.
