This large Silver coin was issued by the Bank of England when the country was experiencing coin shortages due to her ongoing wars with Napoleonic France. A lot of these coins were overstruck on Spanish 8 Reales coins, but this example does not show any evidence of that. This coin is not frequently found for sale, so get this one while it lasts. It has been graded Very Fine 30 by NGC. KM# Tn1.
