Product Description
This coin was issued in 1936 to commemorate the centennial of the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut. It depicts a bust of Bridgeport's most famous citizen, P. T. Barnum. The reverse depiction of an 'Art Deco' style eagle has reminded many of a shark.
