Frank Lloyd Wright is known for a variety of things such as writing, designing, and his architechual work. He lived from 1867-1959 and died just shy of his 92nd birthday. This Gold Commemorative Arts Medal honors his contributions to American society. It is the 3rd of 5 1/2 oz gold Arts Medals to be released by the U.S. Mint between 1980 and 1984.
