The history of the 1 oz Silver rounds

The design of these 1 oz Silver rounds is based on the beautiful artwork produced by Boston sculptor Bela Lyon Pratt for the original Indian Head Gold coin in 1908. The obverse of the U.S. Silver rounds for sale feature Pratt’s portrait of a Native American chief in full headdress, while the reverse is based on her design of a strong Bald Eagle. The Silver rounds inspired by the original Silver coins provide a visual link to the past. When you buy Silver rounds, you own more than an investment; you own a copy of Pratt’s stunning design.

Why invest in 1 oz Silver rounds?

Adding these 1 oz Silver rounds to your investment portfolio is considered a smart move by many financial planners because Silver historically retains its purchasing power during global crises and economic downturns. Because the U.S. Silver rounds for sale are priced closer to the Silver spot price, you can accumulate more Silver for your dollar when compared with legal tender Silver bullion. Like many legal tender Silver coins, these Silver rounds contain 1 troy oz of .999 fine Silver. Buy Silver rounds, and diversify your portfolio with this Precious Metal.

Invest in 1 oz Silver rounds long recognized as a valuable commodity.

Silver, such as these 1 oz Silver rounds, has a long history of being regarded as valuable dating back to its first recording mining over 5,000 years ago. Similar to Silver rounds, Silver ingots were used to trade during ancient times, and Silver was also used for artifacts and jewelry at this time. Even now, people buy Silver for the same uses, and new uses are discovered regularly for the Precious Metal. Silver bullion continues to be recognized around the world as a viable investment and commodity, which means there will always be a market for the Precious Metal.

Coins arrived quickly

These coins arrived quickly but are not the same mint quality as all my other purchases, kinda rough looking but doesn`t matter to me as my purchase was for the silver content only. Apmex is my only source for precious metals.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Recognized Brand

Beautiful, just different from expectation

First of all, i love the service of APMEX and the round is premium condition and quality. So no faults with the product. The 4-star instead of 5 is only due to personal taste. I have never seen a Incuse coin in person, but i don't like these as much. I am not certain if because of the design or not, but it doesn't seem to be "deep" enough a strike. While this may be normal of Incuse Indian coins, i felt it was great detail, just light. Please take this review as personal taste, not coin quality. It is an excellent coin, just different.

Nice to try something different now and then

With the premiums and availability of Eagles and Maples out of control, it only makes sense to purchase silver rounds and bars for the time being. As soon as I saw the design of these Indians I knew I wanted some. They're classier than plain silver rounds and the price was right.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Mint Condition
