ASW= 0.7511. A bust of Queen Isabel II is on the obverse of this large silver coin. Crowned arms flanked by pillars are found on the reverse. This design harkens back to the old Spanish pillar dollar (8 Reales). This is one of the last years of Escudo coinage before Spain transitioned over to a decimal system with the Peseta as the unit. A borderline VF/EF example. KM#629.
