The only series of $1 Legal Tender/U.S. Notes were the 1928 series - printed in the Spring of 1933, but not released until late 1948. Most were sent to Puerto Rico to avoid problems with banks here on the mainland U.S. As a one year type, these notes are hard to find, and in demand by collectors. Very Good condition. This example has seen lots of circulation, and is missing a small piece from the top left corner but is priced to move. Friedberg #1500.
