I grew up a Christian, and--now that I'm into my 30s--I'm starting to have a new-found appreciation for history. Having felt rather disillusioned the last few years by "Christians who do bad things" in the news and in my personal life, I guess I just wanted something that would help me trace back the steps of my faith to the time of Jesus Christ. One of these days, I'd like to do research on the story behind each of these coins' time period and represented culture and approach towards Christianity. // In terms of the quality of these coins, I am a bit disappointed how fragmented some of these 1st Century BC & 1st Century AD coins are; however, what can I expect for coins 2000 and 2100 years old? I'm just honored to own a small fraction of this ancient history. Oh, what secrets of experiences-had these coins must have!
