Comments about 2009 1 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf (Vancouver) - Olympic:

The picture does not do justice at all. You really have to see it yourself to believe it. Beautifully done and certainly one that you will cherish for a long time and pass on to your children.

Comments about 2009 1 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf (Vancouver) - Olympic:

This is the most beautiful gold coin in my opinion. It's too bad that they're becoming harder to find, as the Royal Canadian Mint only minted 50,000 of them.

Comments about 2009 1 oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf (Vancouver) - Olympic:

What a great alternative Reverse design for the Maple, the best of the 3 reverse's for the 2010 Olympics series. This Totem design really works great in gold, more so than in silver. The spinning & turning leaves along the top border of the design is a really nice touch. As usual, I'm over the QEII profiles - but at least the Maples have a different one than the other commonwealth countries mints use.
