These Silver coins were struck sometime during of the reign of Emperor Caracalla (198 - 217 AD). Approx. specifications are 19mm and 3.4g.

The obverse features a bust with the text "ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM." The reverse designs may vary. These well preserved examples have been certified Almost Uncirculated by NGC.

Caracalla's real name was Marcus Aurelius Septimius Bassianus Antoninus. Caracalla was a nickname derived from a hooded cloak of Gallic origin that was his favorite form of dress.
