Product Description

Certified Roman Silver coin!
This Silver denarius of Emperor Trajan was struck sometime from A.D. 98-117. The coin is approximately 18 mm and weighs 2.9 g.

The obverse features a laureate head with the text “Imp Traiano Avg Ger Dac PM TP” which stands for, and translates to, “Imperator, Trajan the Augustus, victor over the Germans and Dacians, chief priest, with the power of a tribune.” The reverse designs may vary.

The Roman Empire reached its maximum size during Emperor Trajan’s rule! This is a great graded example from that time. Graded Choice Fine by NGC.
