Product Description

The Isabela Commemorative Quarter Dollar was the very first United States coin to ever portray a foreign monarch on it. This coin was struck to satisfy the demand from the Board of Lady Managers of the World's Columbian Exposition. Charles Barber designed the coin and the obverse depicts Queen Isabella of Spain. The reverse depicts a kneeling woman with distaff and spindle which is emblematic of women's industry. Very nice specimen with good details and very ligt toning in the devices. There are a few very light hairlines, mentioned for accuracy.

APMEX stands behind every product it sells with a satisfaction guarantee.
