This is a nice Extremely Fine note. This note has a large numeral below the Plate "A". The note is hand-signed and numbered. Nice bright color with slight "thinning" down the left edge.
- This is from the first series of notes to be issued by the Confederate States in 1861 during the Civil War.

- Face: Features a vignette of the goddesses Ceres and Commerce seated on either side of a large urn in the upper left. The right side has a vignette of a steam locomotive.

This note has seen some circulation, but is not damaged as many CSA paper money issues are due to the quality of paper being used. This Very Fine condition note is a good example of CSA paper money used during the Civil War.
