Ancient Gold from the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire!
This gold Solidus was struck during the reign of Emperor Theodosius II (402 - 450 AD). Approximate specifications for this coin are: (21mm X 4.4g).
Obverse: Helmeted head bust facing.
Reverse: Constantinopolis seated holding globe and sceptre. CONOB in ex.

Theodosius II was the son of Arcadius and Eudoxia, and had one of the longest reigns of all the Eastern Roman/Byzantine emperors. Struck at the Constantinople mint. This example has been graded Almost Uncirculated by NGC.
