The coin was small, about the size of a US dime, but the history behind the coin is fascinating.

This coin adds to my vintage coin collection. Reasonably priced, it gives me a great deal of satisfaction owning a coin that dates back to the time of the Roman Empire.

My professor said the Roman Army paid their troops with this coin. Now I can give this coin to my grandchildren, a real item used by Rome in its prime. Maybe it will stimulate them in their studies. What a thrill. Now I have one and do not have to go to the museum to see it.
