1780 $20 Rhode Island Currency 7/2/1780 PCGS Ch New-63

WOW! A great piece of history in this Colonial Currency Note from the State of Rhode Island and dated July 2, 1780. It is catalogeed as # RI289.
This note shows that the smallest state has the longest name: Rhode Island's official name is the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

The denomination is 20 Spanish Milled Dollars. This note has been graded Choice New 63 by PCGS. Bold black printing, and signatures of Adam Comstock, and Caleb Harris. An excellent example of paper currency printed just before the end of the Revolutionary War. Not many of these notes exist in this condition.
