Comments about 2011 1 oz Silver Mexican Libertad (Brilliant Uncirculated):

Great silver coin from Mexico! These coins are absolutely perfect for investment purposes as well as adding diversity to a collection of silver coins from around the world. I have tried to purchase 1 oz silver coins from as many countries as possible and this one stands out from most of the other non-colorized coins in my collection.

Comments about 2011 1 oz Silver Mexican Libertad (Brilliant Uncirculated):

Lovely design! This coin has a similar finish as the American Eagle (perhaps just a touch more matte) and is a pleasure to look at. Nice quality coin with a reasonable markup. I have enjoyed APMEX's service and quick deliveries and will be ordering more of these in the future.

Comments about 2011 1 oz Silver Mexican Libertad (Brilliant Uncirculated):

I have to say, after seeing many silver 1 ounce coins of many countries; this is probably the least attractive silver coin I own. I was greatly disappointed in its aesthetic appearance. It's very dull and does not portray a coin of value, and the engraving detail is minimal and soft, like not much work was put into its design. I most definitely would not buy more of these unless there was no other silver available. However, the Mexican State silver 1oz coins are beautiful if you can still find them - they were really well designed and crafted. Just my opinion.

I received this piece along with some other items and I am entirely happy with my purchase. The Libertad is absolutely gorgeous, front and back. The new design has an elegant amount of depth and detail. I recommend adding one to your collection.

Comments about 2011 1 oz Silver Mexican Libertad (Brilliant Uncirculated):

This is a decent coin. Finish and luster are comparable or slightly better than a 2011 ASE. The design isn't very desirable, especially compared to older Libertads (1995 and lower). The female figure on the obverse and the smaller eagles on the reverse look very basic and even somewhat cartoonish. The best feature of the coin is probably the symbolism on the reverse which shows the advancing stages of a battle between a golden eagle and a snake.
