2011 Tuvalu 1 oz Silver Tasmanian Tiger Proof

2011 Tuvalu 1 oz Silver Tasmanian Tiger Proof

Product Details

Mintage of only 5,000 coins!
First in the Endangered and Extinct series.
This Silver coin features a Colorized Tasmanian tiger and cub set against its natural habitat. The Raphael Maklouf image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse in a beautiful Proof finish.

Each Silver coin is housed in a high-gloss wooden case, accompanied by a numbered CoA. Following the sell-out success of the “Deadly and Dangerous” series it can be expected that this release will go wild!

“Tyger, Tyger, burning bright in the forests of the night…” Just what the famous poet, Blake, might have written about the demise of the Tasmanian tiger, we can never know. Strictly speaking, the Tasmanian tiger is not a tiger at all, but a thylacine and marsupial. This fabled creature was sadly hunted to extinction.

Comments about 2011 1oz Proof Silver Tasmanian Tiger -Endangered and Extinct:

This coin for the first one of the series this is outstanding. It will go up in value for sure, the detail and the color are great. This is a good buy now when it is still at a good price. It is priced 3 times what the red spider coin when it was released, but silver was only $12 an ounce now it is $30.It is nice when the price goes up and you bought at the low but who knows where silver will be in a couple of years up or down. Invest wisely Good Luck everyone!
