This coin contains 32.15 troy oz of Silver! This 2005 coin was issued by the Channel Island of Alderney to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. This historic naval battle took place at the height of the Napoleonic Wars in 1805, and was fought near the Spanish port of Cadiz. The battle ended Napoleon's plan to invade Britain, and made Admiral Horatio Nelson a national hero in England.
