A rare coin with only 1780 examples certifed by PCGS/NGC at this level. The Type 2 Indian Princess Head was designed by James B. Longacre and was minted from 1854-1856. Containing .048375 oz. of Gold, this is the smallest gold coin ever minted in the U.S. These coins have been authenticated and graded as Mint State-62.
