Each coin pays tribute to one of the 31 states and the Federal District which comprise Mexico. This 10 Peso (1 Onza) coin has the National Arms of Mexico on the obverse, with the State Coat of Arms of Baja California Sur on the reverse. The State of Baja California Sur is located in northwestern Mexico due south of Baja California.
