This gold proof coin was issued by Samoa in 1976 to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial, and it contains .4584 of an oz of gold. On the reverse is the image of a pony express rider superimposed over a map of the United States. A bust of King Malietoa and legends appear on the obverse. Only 2,000 were issued!
