These low mintage gold coins were only produced for three years (1854-1856), making them a nice addition to any collection.

The Type 2 Indian Princess Head was designed by James B. Longacre and was minted from 1854-1856. Containing .048375 oz. of Gold, this is the smallest gold coin ever minted in the U.S.
