These coins, grading Extra Fine, are the Type 2 $20 Liberty Double Eagle containing .9675 oz of Gold. Type 2's are identifiable by the motto "In God We Trust" in the middle of the Reverse, which was omitted from the Type 1's. These coins, designed by James B. Longacre, were minted from 1866-1876.
