This limited edition set was issued by the South African Mint in 2005 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the discovery of the Cullinan Diamond, the largest diamond in the world at that time. The Krugerrand gets its name from the coin’s front image, a head shot of the South African Republic’s last president, Paul Kruger.

This unique set comes complete with a miniature crown and scepter specially created in sterling Silver and gilded in 24-karat Gold. Both are set with a 0.05 carat TTLB diamond symbolic of the Star of Africa. The crown weighs 12 grams and scepter 5 grams.
