Each 2012 Silver Eagle contains .999 fine Silver and comes in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The Silver American Eagle is the most popular bullion coin in the United States, and this is the most recent issue in a series that began in 1986. Adolph A. Weinman’s beautiful design showing Lady Liberty, draped in an American flag, walking gracefully as the sun rises over a ridge, appears on the obverse, while a heraldic eagle and 13 small stars appear on the reverse.

Orders in multiples of 20 coins will come packaged in mint tubes, and 500 or more are packaged in "Monster Boxes." Otherwise, coins will be in protective plastic flips.

I ordered 20 of these and received them in a few days. They are a beautiful coin. Great service, I will be buying many more as a hedge against our currency losing most of it's value which I believe could happen within the next 5 to 10 years. Nice to have something that holds it's value in a crisis and actually could soar in price. Silver Eagles are the best for me in terms of cost to buy and ease of selling or barter if things go south, people know what they are and what they are currently worth. Who wants to be stuck with worthless paper money or IOU's.

Just rec'd order of hundred of these coins, looks great and packing was good as well. Only complaint would be out of 100, six coins were blemished (tarnish spots on 3 and scratches on another 3). Normally under 3% of sample is considered insignificant so reaching 6% APMEX should step up quality control measures (note: all blemishes were out of same 20 count tube, other tubes were fine ... think I got a "made up tube")

I just received my order and they are beautiful!! I have four grandchildren and I decided to start a collection for each one. I ordered coins back to year 2000 when the first one was born and ordered the appropriate number of coins for each year, adding a coin per year for each child, until finally 4 coins for 2012. I'm all caught up and each child has a coin for every year since they were born. I also ordered 4 coin books. I'll be buying 4 coins a year from now on (unless there is another grandchild) from APMEX going forward. Someday they'll each have a book filled with coins just for them.
