These Silver Canadian Maples Leaf coins are very attractive and are made so well that they look like proofs even though they are not. Mexican Libertads are nice, but these Canadian Maple Leafs, in my opinion, are superior looking. As usual, APMEX delivered my coins in a timely manner and well packaged.

Maple Leafs offer best silver bullion option for the following reasons...1) #2 bullion coin in the world (behind American Eagle) and is very easy to sell. 2) Stacking is much more space efficient than Eagles with yellow monster boxes boxes taking up 5/7 the space of Eagle's "green" monster box. 3) Mintage is far less than Eagles, increasing chance of higher possible future numismatic value. 4) $5 face, .9999 fine & 38mm diameter (much thicker coin than 41mm Eagle- more heft) are best in class....ALL for a smaller premium!

These and the Silver American Eagle rival each other in beauty...... BUT this coin just has the feel and look of currency long ago. The weight, simple, yet elegant design. Great way to own silver and is just the best in my humble opinion. The spot is cheaper as well.
