This .857 oz, .925-fine Silver Proof coin depicting Samson and the Lion is the 14th in the series of the Biblical Art coins produced by the Holy Land Mint. The obverse shows Samson in the midst of a struggle with a lion, his arm around the neck of the beast. The fight illustrated the strength of Samson, considering few men would possess the ability to defend themselves against an attacking lion with only their bare hands. This popular Biblical story is indicative of the ability God gave Samson. This beautiful coin has a limited mintage of 2,800.
