The reverse is struck with The Holy Land Mint's name and logo with "1 GRAM 999.9 FINE GOLD" and the serial number below. This 1 gram Gold bar is limited to a maximum mintage of 25,000 bars.
The symbol of the dove has a long history, beginning with the story of Noah's Ark in which a dove returned with an olive branch signaling the flood had ended (Genesis 8:11). In the New Testament, the dove represents the peace of Jesus. With modern-day use in situations of conflict, the dove is a universal symbol of peace and a fitting subject for the Holy Land Mint's first Gold bar.
