Mexico issued this 1/4 oz pure Gold coin as part of the Olmec series of Pre-Columbian bullion coinage. The Mexican coat of arms appears on the obverse, while the reverse depicts a sculpture of a Sacerdote, or priest. This Gold coin is legal tender in Mexico for 25 New Pesos. This is one of the lowest non-Proof mintages in the entire series! Listed in Krause as KM#600.
