The idea for this coin came about from an egg decor piece owned by the empress's aunt, which she cherished from her childhood memories. Since then, there have been a number of Faberge eggs made as gifts for Imperials.

- Mintage of only 7,000.
- Comes in an original capsule.
- Obverse: Features "The Spring Flowers Egg" as well as a small profile of the queen that appears to be floating above the egg in detailed bordering.
- Reverse: Based on the "Clover Leaf Egg" that is made of an open pattern of stems and leaves of clover forming the shape of an egg. The actual egg features two transparent green glass zircons in the shape of clovers.
