A special pigment has been used to create this .925-fine Silver Easter coin. At first glance, this coin seems like a plain Silver coin, but when it is heated by touch or with warm air, the surface reveals a surprise: A newly hatched chick appears! For those collectors who cringe at the thought of touching the coin’s surface, a hair dryer works just as well to reveal the Easter surpise!
A complex printing process using thermo-colors makes this "enchantment" possible. The chick image disappears when the coin cools down. The effect can be duplicated about 100 times.
The obverse of this egg-shaped coin displays a profile of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the the queen's name and the denomination of 5 Dollars. Each special Easter Silver coin contains .8 oz of fine Silver, and it comes to you in a beautiful wooden box with a certificate of authenticity.
