The obverse of this Silver Medal depicts a sad and pondering Leah with the mandrakes that her son Reuben bought her preceding the birth of her fifth son to Jacob, Issachar. This is the fourth and final medal in the "Mothers in the Bible" series. The reverse depicts the eternal flame which is a symbol of the continuity of Jewish women throughout history and up to the "Daughters of Jerusalem" today

The medal is made of .999-fine Silver and weighs .643 oz. This beautiful medal comes in the original box with the certificate of authenticity from the Holy Land Mint.
