This .925 fine brilliant uncirculated 20 Rubles coin is the fifth coin in the "Sailing Ships" series. The much loved sailing ship reopened in Greenwich after a $78 million restoration project. Five years ago the Cutty Sark was ravaged by a fire. The series of commemorative coins has been devoted to the most magnificent and recognizable ships. Coins are produced using the integral HOLOGRAM technology with an image of the wind rose. The Cutty Sark is the world's sole surviving extreme clipper. She was build in 1869 by the Scott & Linton Shipyards. She served as a tea and wool clipper and was said to be one of the fastest Sail Ships in the world. On the obverse in the upper part of the coin the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and an inscription (Republic of Belarus). In the central part of the coin is the laser made hologram depicting wind rose. The background has a navigation map and along the rim the year of issue and face value. The reverse has an image of the Cutty Sark with a sea skyline in the background. Near the bottom is a miniature side view of the ship with the inscription Cutty Sark next to the image. Each coin comes encapsulated and with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Mint of Poland.
