This series of Silver coins depicts some of the most beautiful and unusual butterflies of the world. The Apollo is the second coin in the series. This butterfly is found on mountains in Europe. The reverse of the coin features an image of the Apollo sitting on a stonecrop plant. The pad printing technique used to colorize the coin allows you see the color of this beautiful butterfly. The obverse has a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In the background is an enlarged fragment of a butterfly wing. This coin comes with the original capsule and a certificate of authenticity.
