This beautifully designed "Masterpieces of Art" coin pays tribute to the Italian artist Giovanni Antonio Canal (1697-1768). Known as Canaletto, this talented Venetian painter was most famous for his grand scenes of the canals of Venice.
This 3 oz Proof Silver coin includes 17 Swarovski Crystals in its design, which highlight the famous "Return of the Bucentaurn to the Molo on Ascension Day" painting in full color on the reverse. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is represented on the obverse. The coins comes in a beautiful box with a certificate of authenticity.
