Product Description

Mintage of only 10,000!
The second release in the Bush Babies five-coin series.
This Silver coin features a colorized image of a beautiful little sugar glider with its eyes bright and alert, the gorgeous animal is perched on a frosted interpretation of native flowers and accompanied by its insect ‘friend’ as designed by Elise Martinson. The Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse. Each Silver coin is housed in a presentation display case and superbly illustrated shipper along with a numbered CoA.
Sugar gliders are tiny tree-dwelling Australian marsupials that can glide through the air for up to 100 metres. At night, they come out to feed on insects and the sugary sap of eucalyptus and acacia.
