Mintage of only 2,500 coins!
This beautiful .925 Silver coin pays tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the first car to cross Australia from west to east in 1912. Syd Ferguson and Francis Birtles, along with their mascot "Rex," drove 2,600 miles in 28 days in a single cylinder, 10hp "Brush" Runabout.
The reverse has an accurate design of the 1910 Brush Runabout used and also captures in full color the harsh Aussie Outback negotiated by Ferguson and Birtles. The obverse has the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This coin will come with the original capsule and certificate of authenticity in a plush, stylish case.
