Germany issued this Silver commemorative in 1929 to commemorate the millenium of the founding of Meissen. This city in Saxony, which is known the world over for its porcelain, was founded in 929 by King Henry the Fowler. A German eagle within a circle is on the obverse.
The reverse shows a standing figure at center holding a shield in each hand that divides the date. Total Silver content of this piece is .2411 oz. Examples may be cleaned, but have strong extra-fine to Almost Uncirculated details. KM# 65.
