Early 19th century British Sovereign!
This Sovereign is from the relatively short reign (1820-1830) of King George IV. A laureate bust of the king appears on the obverse of this sovereign. Pistrucci's recently adopted design of St. George slaying a dragon appears on the reverse. Gold content is .2354 oz. Although this coin has rim repairs, it shows sharp Extra Fine details which is not bad for a 190 year old coin! Listed in Krause as KM#682.
