Product Description
Mintage of only 2,500 coins!
This .999 fine Silver, colored coin depicts St. Eugenia. She was a Roman by birth and lived in Alexandria, where her father, Philip, was sent by Emperor Commodus (180-192) to be Prefect of Egypt. She became acquainted with the Epistles of the Apostle Paul, and yearned to become a Christian. Christians were banished from Alexandria by the command of the emperor. She left Alexandria and was baptized at a monastery by Bishop Elias. She acquired the gift of healing. On the reverse is the profile of Queen Elizabeth II.
This wonderful Russian market coin comes to you in original capsule with certificate of authenticity.
