All five coins in this fractional set feature the reverse image by Canadian artist Arnold Nogy. This iconic design depicts two small sugar maple leaves overlapping the bottom lobes of one large sugar maple leaf.
The obverse of each coin features an embossed face value (5 dollars, 4 dollars, 3 dollars, 2 dollars and 1 dollar), the commemorative dates “1988” and “2013,” the word “ELIZABETH II,” and the profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin, from the coin’s first release in 1988.
Your Maple Leaf fine Silver fractional set is highlighted by a burgundy clamshell collector box with a black sleeve and accompanied by a serialized certificate, which is your proof of ownership for this coin set and evidence that your coins have been individually inspected by Royal Canadian Mint quality assurance specialists.
