This partially colored .925 fine Proof Silver $5 coin is dedicated to the Church of the Savior on Blood. The coin is part of the "World of Wonders" series, which highlights the most exciting and historically important monuments in the world. In 1881, Tsar Alexander II was assassinated when a bomb hit the Imperial carriage and injured him so severely that he succumbed a few hours later. The Church of the Savior on Blood was built on the site where his blood had flowed. The church is covered with mosaics and is one of the most significant constructions containing mosaics.
The obverse of this Proof Silver coin features a partially colored image of the Church of the Savior on Blood. The reverse shows the coat of arms of Palau. Each of these coins comes with original capsule and certificate of authenticity.
