Product Details

This 1000 coin bag of Mercury Dimes contains mixed dates. All coins are dated between 1916 and 1945 and will be in Extra Fine condition.

Pre-1965 90% Silver coins, sometimes referred to as junk Silver or scrap Silver, are a great way to start your Silver investments. These Silver coins were pulled from circulation with the introduction of copper/nickel clad coins and the rising demand of Silver. The public saved them for their 90% Silver content as a rainy day fund they can fall back on.

Too many sub-XF and cleaned

By  Shale

from East Coast

What can I say, these are Mercury Dimes, I love Mercury Dimes. I spent the extra money on these for XF collectible dimes, and instead got nearly 15-20% that were sub XF, or cleaned, or otherwise unacceptable as XF condition. To be fair I also got about 5% that I would say fell into the AU category, but not enough to offset... Per my count about 10% were pre 1940, which is a little light, but still nice. Most of these fell into the cleaned or sub XF category though, unfortunately. No rare dates, one mintmark error, S/s/s/s 1941.
