Mintage of just 35,000 coins!
This elegant Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Dollar commemorates the 400th anniversary of Quebec City, the only walled city in North America! This coin features a portrait of Samuel de Champlain, explorer and founder of Québec City, facing right and wearing the typical garb of the period. Behind him is the "habitation" he built on what is now the site of the Lower Town of Québec City. The date and denomination are both indicated. The coin is encapsulated inside a burgundy leatherette, clamshell-style presentation case, lined with black velvet and protected by a black outer box. An individually-numbered certificate of authenticity is included. Contains 25.175 grams of sterling silver for a total of 0.748 ounces of pure silver.
