14th century Venetian Gold! More than 600 years old!
This Gold Ducat was minted between 1382 and 1400 at the Venice mint during the reign of Antonio Venier as Doge (Duke) of Venice. This ducat contains approx. 0.1122 oz actual Gold weight. The obverse features Christ standing, and the reverse shows St. Mark standing and the Doge kneeling. This is about as nice as an example as you will find since it has been graded Mint State 61 by NGC.
