Classic 19th century British silver!
The British Crown is an impressive silver coin with its diameter of 39 millimeters and silver content of .8409 of an ounce. What is equally impressive about this coin is its age. Crowns are not readily available from the short reign of King George IIII (1820-1830), and they were only struck during three years of his reign. This 1822 dated specimen has a laureate head of the king on the obverse, while Pistrucci's rendition of St. George slaying the dragon appears on the reverse. This is the variety with Tertio on the edge. This coin has been graded Fine 15 by NGC. Listed in Krause as KM#680.2.
