Mint State Gold Stater! More than 2,000 years old!
Thracian or Scythian Gold stater of Coson (approximate diameter of 18mm, approximate weight of 8.4 g). The obverse features three togate figures advancing, the first and third each carrying an ax over their shoulders. The reverse shows an eagle standing on scepter, holding wreath in one claw.

This coin comes from an unknown dynasty, possibly Scythian, whose coinage seems to be inspired by the Silver denarius of M. Junius Brutus issued in 54 B.C.
