Uncommon triangular shaped coin!
Here is another new and different coin issued by the Isle of Man! In 2009, the small dependency of Great Britain issued a series of coins to celebrate the return of the King Tut exhibit to London for the first time since 1972.
This example is a 1/2 oz Gold Crown struck by the Pobjoy Mint in the shape of a triangle. A King Tut’s sarcophagus appears in the center among a variety of hieroglyphs. A sought after coin with interesting subject matter! This example has been graded Proof 69 Ultra Cameo by NGC.
