Comments about 2013 10 Euro Silver Proof UNESCO-850th Anniv. Notre Dame de Paris:

This is a really unique coin, and the 850th anniversary of the Notre Dame makes it extra special. I have been to the Notre Dame in Paris and this coin contains some of those well-known details. If you are lucky enough to acquire one, hold the coin up to the light and look through the stain glass parts of the coin... very cool! The cons to this coin are the low percentage of silver and high cost. These are characteristics of most coins minted by the French, so I generally do not purchase Monnaie de Paris coins. However, the Notre Dame coin is an exception!
